Paid Consultation

Official Contract & Advance Payment
Please put signature or stamp (Hanko) on the sheets including contract to make official contract.
After the official contract is made, we will receive half of contract amount as advance payment, then go ahead with the procedures.

A. We can handle the following procedures:

Also, if the original application we made has been denied, we attend the meeting at Immigration Services Agency office with you to investigate the reasons of denial and make application again for free (re-application). *1 Depending on client’s circumstances, the details of the plans might be different from the below explanations. In such a occasion, we cealrly explain about the differences in the quotation or any communications before making contract.
Please note that our scope of service differs according to the plan client applies for.
PLAN A – Full support plan
You can leave us all the application procedures.*2
Specifically, all the following procedures are included:
Preparation of application form / Collection of public documents / Submission of documents to Immigration Services Agency / Reception of result notification from Immigration Services Agency / Delivery of certificate or renewed residence card to you / Re-application service.
PLAN B – Application preparation plan
Almost same procedures in PLAN A are handled by us except for “Submission of documents to Immigration Services Agency”.
If you can spare some time for visiting Immigration Services Agency to submit the documents, the contract amount is lower by about JPY 20,000 or more compared to PLAN A.
PLAN C – Document checking & proofreading plan
We only check and revise the contents of the application documents prepared by client.
If you have past experiences to have made visa application by yourself and would like to confirm that your application materials do not include any errors, PLAN C , which has the lowest price in the three plans, is the best choice.
Re-application service would not apply if: the denial is because of client’s circumstances; client has provided us with untruth information, etc.
Some procedures are excluded, such as the procedures that: are particularly excluded in the clauses in the agreed contract; are not permitted by law or some other rules for us to handle; etc.
Q. I live in distant place from SUGITA Intl. Office. Can I apply for consultation or make an order?
A. We welcome contact / order from all over Japan and all over the world.
In many cases, whole application process can be completed if the internet is available for both client and us. Additionally, consultation between client and us can be carried out using online application like Zoom or LINE.
On the other hand, some procedures cannot be completed on the internet. If we have to take long time / distance travel and/or lodging for those procedures, travel and accommodation fees would be charged.
Q. I have not decided whether to order application support of immigration lawyer or not yet. Can I apply for Free Evaluation Service?
A. Of course. You can decide if you make an order or not after getting our Free Evaluation Sheet.
We provide Free Evaluation Service so that our clients can understand contents of our services well and consider if our support is needed or not for them.

Q. Does SUGITA Intl. Office make sales call or sales E-mail after I apply for Free Evaluation Service?
A. We do not use clients’ personal information for sales call / E-mail.
However, please note that we might contact client in the specific cases such as when client’s application includes unclear contents, etc.
Q. Are method, timing, and price negotiable?
A. Firstly, please let us know your detail circumstances. Depending on your circumstances, we may propose some solutions such as installment payment or change of payment timing.
Please note that, handling charge may occur depending on the special measures like abovementioned ones.
Q. Can I receive quantity discount? I think to order application support service for plural foreign employees.
A. We may accept request for discount when employer regularly orders our services or when large number of orders are issued at once.
However, please note that we may decline your request depending on the contents or amount of order.
Q. Can I order the services that are not listed in the service menu?
A. Please let us know the details of the service you want. Depending on the contents, we can handle it.

Q. For paid consultation, do I have to go to SUGITA Intl. Office?
A. For consultation / meeting, we go to your home / office or other place you prefer. Also, online consultation / meeting is available.
Please note that travel / accommodation fee may be charged when the place you decide on is far from our office.
For your information, for the trip to Saitama pref., Tokyo, Chiba pref., Kanagawa pref., Gunma pref., and Tochigi pref., we generally do not charge travel fee.
Q. Can I leave all the procedures to SUGITA Intl. Office after official contract?
A. Basically, the procedures included in the contract are handled by only us.
However, please note that your help would be almost definitely required during the performance of the contract. What we ask you for are as follows:
- provision of personal information;
- collection and preparation of the private documents (such as the documents issued by your company or school you graduated, etc.); and
- answering our question as soon as possible.
If we do not receive your help on the abovementioned issues, completion / performance of contract is impossible.
Also, please note that we may contact you frequently for the abovementioned issues during the performance of the contract.
Q. I have some divorce histories in the past. Can my current wife/husband get Japanese Spouse visa?
A. Possibility of permission is still left.
Firstly, please apply for Free Evaluation Service so that we can judge the possibility of permission considering your detailed circumstances.
Q. Can I get consultation on labor control / management affairs for foreign employees?
A. For labor control / management, it is the exclusive field of certified Labor and Social Security Attorney (“Sharo-shi” in Japanese). We Immigration Lawyer is prohibited to handle this field by law.
If you have any concerns to be solved in the field where both Immigration lawyer and Labor and Social Security Attorney have to engage in, we will collaborate with your partner Labor and Social Security Attorney.
Q. My visa (staying period) is expiring soon. Can SUGITA Intl. Office make application in a few weeks?
A. If about 2 weeks are left until the expiration date, we might be able to prepare the application documents. However, it depends on the contents of application and your circumstances.
Please note that this kind of express service requires extra fee. For the amount, please ask us.
Also, it shall be noted that certainty to get permission would be lower compared to the normal cases if express service applies because we have to catch the client’s unique circumstances only in the limited period. Therefore, when express service applies, free re-application service and money-back guarantee shall not be applied.
Q. I do not know well about visa. Could my application for consultation annoy SUGITA Intl. Office?
A. Please do not worry about it. Our job is to help those who do not know something.
We proceed every issue with explaining what you are not familiar with. We never change our attitude according to knowledge amount of client.

Took one year leave from Univ. to earn tuition, and earned much larger amount than planned. With this surplus, went to US and traveled from west coast to east coast.
After graduated the Univ., joined foreign affiliated trading firm. Engaged in sales activity of industrial seal products such as mechanical seal, gland packing, oil seal, semi-metal gasket, etc.
After leaving the trading firm, joined a Japanese pump & blower manufacturer. As sales engineer / interpreter, mainly engaged in petrochemical plant construction projects. Specifically, engaged in sales, interpretation, document management, translation of drawings, exportation of products, finding foreign vendors, marketing, etc.

Immigration Lawyer SUGITA International Office specializes in only immigration affairs such as visa acquisition / change / extension, permanent residency, and employment of foreign workers.
We support our clients with the national certification called “Gyousei-shoshi (行政書士)” in Japanese. Person with this certification is permitted to engage in many kinds of procedures in the wide fields including constructor’s license, succession procedure of property, conversion of agricultural land, Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), adult guardianship, etc. This wide permitted field is one of the strong points of the Gyousei-shoshi certification, however, our office intentionally engages in only immigration services.
Why specialize in only Immigration & International Services?
The reason why we handle only immigration affairs is because the services of immigration field affect clients’ lives much more directly and strongly than the services in the other fields.
For example, what would happen if application of extension of VISA that an immigration lawyer handles have been denied by Immigration Services Agency for the immigration lawyer’s lack of ability? First of all, the applicant can no longer live in Japan, which means the applicant must leave Japan and go back to his/her home country. In this situation, the applicant has to leave the company he/she works for, prepare new house in the home country, and take procedures on the school of his/her child. Additionally, the applicant also has to find job in the home country. Those procedures must be taken in really short period if the application is denied.
This kind of occasion can raise fatal problems on not only the applicant him/herself but also the people around such as applicant’s family and employer. This can lead to make their lives instable.
