A. No, we cannot be your guarantor.
Guarantor shall be any one of the following persons:
- Your family living in Japan;
- Your friend living in Japan;
- Your business partner in Japan (in case your purpose of visit is short term business).
Q. Can SUGITA Intl. Office give me the document list for visa application?
A. Yes, we provide document list to our client.
However, document list can be provided to client only after official contract is made.
Q. Can SUGITA Intl. Office submit application documents to Japanese consulate / embassy in applicant’s country?
A. No, submission of application documents is out of scope of our service.
After documents are completed, we will send them to you by international courier service. After receiving the documents, please go to consulate / embassy by yourself for visa application.
Q. How long does it take to prepare the application documents?
A. Generally, we prepare the documents in 2 weeks.
The time needed for document preparation differs according to our work load and clients cooperation level. If you would like earlier preparation, please ask us.
Q. How long does it take to send the prepared documents from Japan to my country?
A. Generally, it takes 3 to 6 days, or longer.
Please note that longer time might be required depending on the transportation situation.

Also, you can deny our proposal after the issuance of quotation.

When 5 or more persons apply for our service in one contract, you can get some discount.
Q. When shall I make payment?
A. Please make payment within 5days from the date of contract.
We will start document preparation after we confirm your payment.
Q. Will contract amount be returned to me if COE application is denied?
A. We refund some portion of contract amount to you if the application is denied.
However, this refund system would apply only when client proves that the denial is resulted from our fault. Also, refund amount is fixed considering the clients circumstances. Refund amount is shown on the quotation.

We support our clients with the national certification called “Gyousei-shoshi (行政書士)” in Japanese. Person with this certification is permitted to engage in many kinds of procedures in the wide fields including constructor’s license, succession procedure of property, conversion of agricultural land, Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), adult guardianship, etc. This wide permitted field is one of the strong points of the Gyousei-shoshi certification, however, our office intentionally engages in only immigration services.

The reason why we handle only immigration affairs is because the services of immigration field affect clients’ lives much more directly and strongly than the services in the other fields.
For example, what would happen if application of extension of VISA that an immigration lawyer handles have been denied by Immigration Services Agency for the immigration lawyer’s lack of ability? First of all, the applicant can no longer live in Japan, which means the applicant must leave Japan and go back to his/her home country. In this situation, the applicant has to leave the company he/she works for, prepare new house in the home country, and take procedures on the school of his/her child.
